What brings you to the blog?

Thanks to www.statcounter.com, I can get a snapshot of recent activity on this blog. Unfortunately on the free version (I am too cheap to subscribe to the full version) I only get the last 500 entries, but this allows me to see, among other things, what search terms visitors use to arrive at the blog from Google, Yahoo and other search engines.

So for all of you coming here via the search terms "rebecca ryan topless", "rebecca ryan topless shameless video", "rebecca ryan naked", "rebecca ryan shameless nude", "rebecca ryan nude" and "shameless debbie topless", it is with a heavy heart that I have to say this was clearly a body-doubled scene and this is why I decided not to capture it. I refer you to the discussion in the comments section of an earlier post where this is discussed in some detail and where you can find a link to the clip posted by a visitor (thanks to Paul!).

On the other hand, as various searches for Rebecca Ryan topless account for a full 20% of all the search engine links in my current 500 visits snapshot and have done so the last few snapshots I checked as well, if any Shameless writers or producers happen to be reading the blog, then you know what the public really want to see next season! (And can you throw in Joanne Higson too, while you're about it!).

Lack of nudity and lack of quality TV in general is pretty depressing. All this reality shit is boring me to tears. If I hear one more thing about the Apprentice or bloody Susan Boyle I'm going to walk into the ocean. What happened to quality dramas and comedies?(with a little nudity gratutious or otherwise thrown in). Anyway enough ranting, Keep up the good work mate and lets hope the tide soon turns.

I read this via an RSS feed and I subscribed to get a heads up on upcoming nudity on TV. I know you tend to write about the new stuff coming up but it'd be great if you could tip us to the repeats too, not saying you have to retype old entries but a pointer or link would be appreciated. Cheers!

@ Mark - my feelings too!

@ Jack - I kind of moved away from the format of what no less an authority than The Guardian described as "a Radio Times for horny adolescents". To be honest, this was mainly as there was so little new nudity and once you study the listings closely - as I was doing to compile the weekly upcoming nudity lists - the same programmes and films came round time and again. After a couple of years, I'd mentioned certain films or shows multiple times and I was running out of things to say.

At the moment, pretty much anything worth watching (for nudity or just for entertainment) is American and the skin tends to be well-publicised long before it reaches our shores Californication, for example, is well worth a look for nudity, but the series currently playing on Fiver (Thursdays at 10.00 pm)went out last year in the states and all the flesh has been capped and has been available on Upcoming Nude Scenes for months. (Still worth watching for the bits between the skin!).

Still, I'm interested in your feedback and I will keep it in mind when I consider what to post.

I remember reading that very same article in the Guardian some time ago.

TBH it made me laugh because, frankly, I'd rather read the Radio-times-for-adolescents than the Radio Times, which is surely one of the most amateurish, committee-written magazines out there. Every issue seems, inexplicably, to include 3 pages on Doctor Who, and more often than not has gormless David Tennant gurning on the cover. No vested interests there then.

Moreover, Mark's comment is spot on - it's not just a lack of nudity but the quality generally. The fact is that I find watching the sexy highlights of programmes far more entertaining than sitting through the boring things myself.

So the Guardian actually got it the wrong way around. This site is less an erotic Radio Times than an anti-TV guide that does away with that bland TV aspect altogether.
