No surprise then that a disproportionate chunk of the British-ish nudity that has made it to our screens in the last few years has come either in international co-productions which air on cable in the US and on the BBC here (Rome and The Tudors are the obvious examples) or else from UK stars who are earning a crust in the States (Jaime Murray in Dexter say). The latest of the co-productions is amusing sword-and-sorcery spoof Kröd Mändoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire (dig those crazy heavy metal umlauts) which the Beeb shares with (the US) Comedy Central. Whilst not venturing into actual nudity, the opening episode featured an erotic dance from leading lady India de Beaufort which would never have made it into one of Auntie's homegrown comedies.
London girl India is rather lovely and her previous credits are a supporting role in Run Fatboy Run and a spell as one of Basil Brush's non-puppet sidekicks (children's TV has come a long way since the days of Mr Derek & Mr Roy). Cast as the hero's sexually adventurous girlfriend, she illustrated her character's personality - see it's art not titillation - by performing the Dance of the 300 Racoons which is well worth a look-see and capped here for your entertainment.
