New video clip - Kate Winslet

A lack of new nudity on UK TV plus the usual complications, not least of which is my being a lazyarse, mean I haven't updated this blog in a while.

Nothing brand new to add now, I'm afraid, but recent stills of Kate Winslet's nude scenes in her new movie The Reader, encouraged me to make a capture of one of earlier (and best) nude scenes from the 1996 adaptation of Jude the Obscure. I don't remember any full frontal nudity in the book, but I'm sure if I had cast the ever obliging Kate in a costume drama I too would quickly realise that a bush shot was integral to the exploration of the character.

There was full nudity from a group of unknown ladies in a hosing down scene in the ITV1 drama Affinity that was broadcast at 9.00pm on Sunday, December 28 2008.

Christ, you actually got through a Hardy novel without topping yourself? I tried reading Tess of the D'Urbervilles this summer and couldn't bring myself to read past the third chapter.

@ Anonymous 1 - There was full nudity, but none of them were credited and at least half of them were typical of the Victorian criminal class depicted - i.e. not exactly lithe and nubile. So I don't think I'll be capping that. There was a dream-type sequence that revisited the hosing down scene and this time Zoë Tapper was seen, but there was, through the fog, at best 5 frames of half a nipple, so I don't think it's worth adding to the site.

@ Anonymous 2 - I've read more than one Hardy novel - very culcha'ed me - though I know what you mean!

I understand what you're saying about half the ladies in that scene in Affinity not being lithe and nubile - but, hey, these days, I appreciate virtually ANY female nudity in mainstream TV/films. The alternative, of course, is just to stick exclusively with the lithe and nubile girls of the Sky 900 channels/internet websites.
